A robot as your barista ? R we appreciative for service bots ?
 
While travelling in California recently, I had my first robot-made Cappo. Not from an Automatic-Coffee-machine, no no. Fresh Beans from a separate grinder, an Italian Espresso machine – milk, steamed in a can. All prepared by a small industrial robot(arm). No human interaction at all.
The Cappuccino was great, yet it was a relatively highly priced product.
 
A future vision for Starbucks? Or just a technology ballet for nerds?

How much value is a product/service loosing due to the fact that it is not produced by a human being ? Do customers show the same appreciation?
 
I felt entertained, but a smiling human being, interacting with me would be my preference.
